Hair transplant Shakargarh patient visited our clinic for his baldness treatment. He came to know about our clinic through his friend who got his Fue procedure a few months back from our clinic. The patient already had front area hair restoration surgery through FUT technique. After a few years from his first procedure, hair loss continued and he developed Norwood class 6 male pattern baldness. He did not bother to get any treatment for hair fall control, therefore, he lost all his existing strands. He asked to cover the mid scalp and crown area but his donor area grafts were not enough to cover the whole scalp. Therefore, it was decided in the consultation to cover the mid scalp area as the hairline is serving the purpose to cover from the front side. It was estimated to take 2200 to 2500 grafts from the back and sides of the head and all these grafts will be placed behind the hairline area as well to merge the right and left side gaps. The patient asked the following questions during consultation.

1-      What are instructions for the post Fue procedure?

You need to take care of the transplanted follicles and you will avoid touching and bending. Similarly, you will avoid heavy weight lifting, beach and swimming water as these things can harm the newly placed grafts.

2-      Can we perform FUE without shaving?

Yes, we can perform it if there are less than 500 to 700 grafts. If we need to extract more than 1500 grafts, then we have to trim or shave with a machine to avoid any wastage of the grafts.

3-      What is the cost of full hair restoration?

Normally, we perform full head coverage in two or three procedures and there should be a 6 to 9 months interval between each session. We charge on the basis of grafts, technique and one session will cost you 75000 to 150,000 Pak Rupee. To cover full head, you should keep in mind 150,000 to 275,000 Pak rupee in mind.
